Why rejuvenate?
Get more years from the roof you already paid for
A roof replacement is one of the largest home expenses you'll face. If your asphalt roof is aging but still sound, rejuvenation may let you put that expense off, at a fraction of the cost.

Keep more money in your pocket
Rejuvenating a qualifying roof is about $2,000 to $3,000 for most Valley homes, versus $8,000 to $15,000 for a new roof. The difference stays with you.
Replace on your schedule
Postponing a replacement gives you time to plan, save and choose the right moment, instead of being rushed into a decision.
Get full value from your roof
You paid for every year your shingles can give you. Replacing a roof that still has life left means paying for years you never used.
Reduce waste
A replacement sends the old roof to the landfill. Keeping a sound roof in service longer means less waste and fewer new materials.
Rejuvenation vs. roof replacement
How the two options compare on cost, time, disruption, material waste and the kind of roof each is right for.
| Compare | ShingleGuard rejuvenation | Full roof replacement |
|---|---|---|
| Typical cost | $1.00–$1.25 per sq ft, about $2,000–$3,000 for most homes, tune-up included | $4–$7 per sq ft, about $8,000–$15,000 for most homes |
| Time on site | Usually a single visit | Often several days, plus scheduling and permitting |
| Disruption at home | No tear-off, no dumpster, minimal noise | Tear-off noise, debris, dumpster in the driveway |
| Material waste | Keeps existing shingles on the roof and out of the landfill | Old shingles are torn off and hauled to the landfill |
| Safety | USDA-certified biobased treatment, designed for safe use around homes | Heavy equipment, nails and debris around your home during tear-off |
| Warranty | Backed by a ShingleGuard 5-year warranty | Manufacturer and workmanship warranties vary by contractor |
| Best suited for | Aging but structurally sound asphalt shingle roofs | Roofs with widespread damage, leaks, rot or failed decking |

What is each extra year of roof life worth to you?
Take the price of a new roof and divide it by the number of years it's expected to last. That's roughly what each year of roof life is worth. When rejuvenation costs less than the value of the extra time it may give a qualifying roof, it can be a smart financial decision.
Questions to ask any roofer
- Is my roof actually failing, or just aging?
- Are there leaks, rot or deck damage?
- How many good years might my shingles have left if they’re maintained?
- What would it cost to maintain versus replace, and when?
We answer all four during every free assessment.
When replacement is the right call
Rejuvenation isn’t a repair for a damaged roof. If your roof has active leaks, soft or rotted decking, widespread cracked or missing shingles, or significant storm damage, treating it won’t solve those problems. In that case we’ll tell you so plainly, and recommend you speak with a roofing contractor about repair or replacement. Our goal is to help you make the right decision, not to sell you a treatment you don’t need.

$1.00 to $1.25 per square foot of roof, which comes to $2,000 to $3,000 for most Valley homes. A new shingle roof runs $8,000 to $15,000. The price includes a roof tune-up: a Perma-Boot cover on every plumbing vent pipe, replacing a few damaged shingles, resealing vents and flashing, securing popped nails, and cleaning out your gutters. There’s no minimum. Where you land in the range depends on any extra work your roof needs and where you are in the Valley, and you get the exact price in writing after your free assessment, before you decide anything.
Results depend on the roof's age, condition, ventilation and exposure. Rejuvenation is designed to replenish oils that asphalt shingles lose over time, which may help restore flexibility and extend the useful life of a qualifying roof. We won't promise a specific number of years for your roof without assessing it first. A single properly applied treatment supports shingle adhesion, flexibility and performance for about 5 to 6 years before another maintenance treatment is recommended.
Yes. ShingleGuard treatments are backed by a 5-year warranty. We give you the full warranty terms in writing before any work begins, so you know exactly what is covered.
Sometimes replacement is the right answer, and we'll tell you when it is. If your roof is structurally sound but aging, rejuvenation may let you postpone that large expense for a fraction of the cost. Our goal is to give you the information to decide, not to push you either way.
Find out if your roof qualifies. It’s free.
A quick assessment tells you where your roof stands and whether rejuvenation could save you from an early replacement. No pressure, no obligation, just straight answers.
